Before ordering
Confirm the existing alarm’s cutout, case dimensions, wiring, voltage, mounting depth, color, production date, and required replacement interval. The supplier states propane and CO alarms should be tested weekly and replaced at five years of age or earlier if malfunctioning.
Important: Never ignore an alarm. Move to fresh air, eliminate ignition sources when propane may be present, and follow the alarm manufacturer’s emergency procedure.
